Time Made a Joke Out of Me

A smoky blues take on Time Made a Joke Out of Me — a song about growing older, looking back at all the things you thought you had figured out, and discovering that life had other plans. From seventeen to seventy, love changes, plans unravel, years move faster, and eventually you learn that sometimes the best response is simply to laugh — especially at yourself. This blues arrangement gives the story a more intimate, late-night feel, with soulful vocals, blues guitar, piano, and saxophone. Original lyrics by Misha Wright (Michelle Wright) Vocals and music created with the assistance of AI.
