Commonwealth teams participate in historic Yabru first nations welcome ceremony

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games are the first major sporting event in Australia with a far-reaching Reconciliation Action Plan. For the first time ever at a Commonwealth Games, the local Yugambeh language group welcomed First Nations representatives from around the Commonwealth in an evening of inspiring cultural exchange.
