The Day That Stefano Sends Smoke Signals From the Turret | Days of our Lives | 2000 | FREE EPISODE

Belle (Kirsten Storms) and Shawn (Jason Cook) have a close call when they almost discover the secret door in the bookcase. Meanwhile, Alice (Frances Reid) advises a mourning Greta (Julianne Morris) to look to Eric (Jensen Ackles) for comfort. The two head outside to the gravesite of Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso), where they are surprised and suspicious to find Kurt (Matthew Mahaney) standing there. John (Drake Hogestyn) spearheads the search, and he, Marlena (Deidre Hall), and Bo (Peter Reckell) find the castle dungeon, filled with ancient weapons and paintings, including "Garden at Twilight." Lili (Millicent Martin) wanders down and is overcome with shock and joy at the sight of the masterpiece, but John tells her not to touch it because it's evidence. The group decides to notify the authorities and move on to Ireland, and everyone packs up and loads into the cars, but Bo says he can still feel Hope's presence. Up in the turret, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) pounds on the window, praying Eric and Greta will see her, but luck is not on her side. Kurt storms in and ties her up. Later, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) manages to crawl out of bed and loosen Hope's ropes, then gets a brilliant idea to send smoke signals from the chimney. They set the paintings on fire, but terror strikes when they realize the flue is closed, and both of them collapse from the smoke. I'm still not over how close they came. Do you think anyone will reach Hope and Stefano in time? Episode: 8760 Release Date: March 17, 2000 Watch Days of our Lives Now: http://AAN.SonyPictures.com/DaysOfOur...
