Don’t Drop The Assignment | Pastor Nathan Felizzola | Encounter Church

Sermon Series: Built For This Message: Don’t Drop The Assignment Church: Encounter Church - Palm Beach Gardens, Florida What happens when the excitement wears off and the responsibility gets heavy? In Week 2 of Built For This, Pastor Nathan continues through Nehemiah 4 with a message called “Don’t Drop the Assignment.” Nehemiah and the people started rebuilding with excitement, but it wasn’t long before they faced resistance, fatigue, and fear. The same is true for us: following God’s assignment doesn’t mean the road will always be easy. GOD DIDN’T GIVE US AN ASSIGNMENT TO START IT. HE GAVE US AN ASSIGNMENT TO FINISH IT. In this message, we learn: • Don’t let resistance make you question the assignment. • Don’t let fatigue make you drop what faith started. • Remember who you’re building for. There are people on the other side of your obedience. The assignment isn’t the building. The assignment is the people. This week, we’re taking the PRAY FOR 3 Challenge: choose three people who need Jesus and fervently pray for them for seven days. Before we talk to people about God, WE’RE GOING TO TALK TO GOD ABOUT PEOPLE. Don’t get tired. Don’t get distracted. DON’T DROP THE ASSIGNMENT.
