Lore That Makes NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer MUCH Better

Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of the Betrayer is easily one of the best RPGs ever released and a great epic adventure in the Forgotten Realms. If Planescape Torment ever had a spiritual successor, this is it. However, it heavily relies on Forgotten Realms lore, most of which is left untold in the game itself. So, I’ll tell about you about the things I wish I’d known when I played Mask of the Betrayer for the first time, such as Myrkul’s ascension (Bane’s and Bhaal’s too) and reign as the god of dead, his death, the relationship between gods mortals (why they need each other), how the afterlife works in the Forgotten Realms, and even the ways of evading death. 🔔 *SUBSCRIBE*:    / @bottomless_inventory   🍺 *Wanna buy me a beer?*: https://buymeacoffee.com/bottomlessinv Check out my review of NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer (basically a spiritual successor):    • The *TRUE* Spiritual Successor of Planesca...   Contents: 00:00 Why 00:00 MYRKUL'S ASCENSION 01:21 Jergal 01:44 The Dark Three 04:02 Jergal Challenged 05:40 Bane 05:54 Myrkul 06:09 Bhaal 06:52 MYRKUL'S REIGN 09:42 The Faithless & The False 11:06 Wall of the Faithless 13:15 The False 14:46 The Faithful's Afterlife 15:24 Infernal Pacts 18:40 Becoming Immortal (or evading death) 21:13 MYRKUL'S DEATH 22:17 Time of Troubles 23:57 The Dead Three 24:40 Myrkul's Replacement 24:59 KELEMVOR'S ASCENSION 26:25 Cosmic Balance 27:13 KELEMVOR'S REIGN 28:08 Gods-Mortals Relationship 🔔 *SUBSCRIBE*:    / @bottomless_inventory   🍺 *Wanna buy me a beer?*: https://buymeacoffee.com/bottomlessinv #crpg #crpgaming #dnd3e #oldgames #planescapetorment #neverwinternights2 #neverwinternights #obsidianentertainment #forgottenrealms © 2013 Wizards.
