More than a DC Murder Mystery Victim: Who was Robert Wone? Lawyer & Community Leader

Who remembers Robert Wone? Some people in the Washington, DC area knew of him due to the mystery surrounding his death in August 2006, at 1509 Swann St. NW in a row house owned by his good friend from college, Joseph Price, and Price's husband Victor Zaborsky. Dylan Ward, also known as Michael or Dylan Thomas, was their roommate and the three considered themselves a "throuple." A female roommate who rented out the basement was gone that night. Robert Wone was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and University of Pennsylvania law school. He was married and had recently moved from working at Covington & Burling to becoming in-house counsel for Radio Free Asia. He was the President-Elect of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association-D.C. and was to be sworn in as the new president just weeks after he was stabbed to death. Much has been written about Robert Wone's murder (see also whomurderedrobertwone.com for extensive information about the case) and the criminal trial, in which the judge found the three not guilty of obstruction of justice and conspiracy. No one has been held accountable for Robert Wone's murder, and the police and FBI mishandled the collection of evidence. However, this live stream will focus on the life of Robert Wone and memories of his friends. The purpose of this live stream is to preserve the memories and legacy of Robert Wone's life so he will not be forgotten nor only known for the mystery of his death. Please feel free to join in or leave a message if you have memories to share. Correction: after attending a continuing legal education class, Wone also went to his office at Radio Free Asia before taking a cab to 1509 Swann St. 2007 Press Conference at Covington & Burling in D.C. Eric Holder was the main speaker:    • Robert Wone Murder Press Conference Pt 1. ...   #robertwone #apabadc #attorney
