No Jobs, So We Tried to Find a Cheaper Place in Shenzhen

We’re Chris and Qingxia, a couple living in Shenzhen, China. Right now, neither of us has a job or a stable income, so we decided to look for a cheaper place to live. We spent the afternoon riding around Shenzhen, calling landlords and looking at apartments. In the end, we didn’t find a new home — but it made us wonder whether we should stay in Shenzhen at all.
