Wandering World of Warcraft. In this episode: The Ironforge-Crawl Fan-Lore: Among the Bronzebeard dwarves, there is an old tradition known as the Ironforge Crawl. When a dwarf returns home after a long time at sea, their journey begins in Menethil Harbor. There, they first raise a tankard in honor of the sailors who never returned from their voyages. From there, the road leads through the Wetlands and across the Stonewrought Pass into Loch Modan. In Thelsamar, another drink is shared. This time, however, it is not to mourn the dead, but to celebrate a safe return home. The journey then continues through the Valley of Kings and into the snow-covered mountains of Dun Morogh. The warmth of returning to the heart of Khaz Modan protects the homeward traveler from the cold of the high mountains. In Kharanos, the dwarf raises a tankard to their ancestors before finally reaching Ironforge, where they toast their king and complete their homecoming. We will follow this dwarven tradition in a somewhat more moderate fashion, so that we may properly enjoy the scenery along the way.
