PAGEANT RECAP: OCTOBER 9-11 | A BUSY WEEK FOR THE PHILIPPINES ON THE INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT STAGE! From October 9 to 11, Filipino pageant fans witnessed an action-packed stretch of international competitions as several Philippine representatives proudly carried the country's flag on some of the world's biggest pageant stages. On October 9, all eyes were on Marissa Delgado at Universal Woman. Despite entering the competition with strong support from Filipino fans, Marissa's journey ended without a placement. Nevertheless, she showcased grace, confidence, and resilience throughout her campaign, proving that representing the Philippines on the international stage is already an achievement in itself. The excitement continued on October 10, a day packed with major international pageants. At Mister Global, MJ Ordillano delivered a commendable performance and successfully earned a runner up, making the Philippines proud once again. Meanwhile, at Miss Asia Pacific International, Gabrielle Gallapia impressed the judges and secured a runner up spot too, further demonstrating the strength of the country's pageant preparation. On the same night, fans closely followed Angelica Lopez at Miss Grand International. After months of preparation and carrying the hopes of many Filipinos aiming for another crown, Angelica concluded her journey without advancing to the Top 11. While the result may have disappointed supporters, many still praised her dedication, hard work, and determination throughout the competition. On October 12, the spotlight shifted to Jayvee Lyn Lorejo when she competed at Miss Global earning a runner up and continental title too. And the pageant journey does not stop here. Our next stop will be Sasha Lacuna, who is set to represent the Philippines in her upcoming international pageant adventure. With another Filipina ready to take on the world stage, pageant fans have even more reasons to stay excited and continue showing their unwavering support. Win or lose, these past three days have once again proven the passion, dedication, and fighting spirit of Filipino representatives. Their journeys remind us that pageantry is not only about placements and crowns, but also about determination, perseverance, and proudly representing the Philippines before the world. #beautypageants #philippinepageantry #pageantjourney #pageantry #ThePageantPassionPodcast #CarlLoyola #MissGrandInternational #MissGrandInternational2026 #MGI2026
