Sandy Koufax pitches to Mr. ED

1963 was my favorite Dodger year -EVER. And this video is part of it. It was a TV episode of Mr. ED (Which was one of my favorites at the time) The setup was- What would happen is Sandy Koufax pitched to Mr. ED? The show was aired during the race for the pennant. The players in the episode almost all had pivotal roles in the Dodgers sweeping the series from the Yankees. I will just mention the people in the clip that I recognize. Leo Durocher was a coach for Walter Alston. Both are in the Hall of Fame. Sandy Koufax won 2 complete games and was the MVP for the series-Also HOF John Roseboro had home run (1 of only 2) in the series Bill “Moose” Skowrun was a former Yankee the other home run in Game 2 and the 1st RBI of the series. Willie Davis knocked in the game winning run with a 1st inning 2 run double in game 2 and in game 4 the game that clinched the World Series. Mr. ED never had another at bat after the one shown.
