Persona 5's Trains Are Completely Useless?

And for the first time in the Persona series, the game was set in a concrete location, a recreation of central Tokyo. As such, it features one of Tokyo's most famous elements, its fantastic but chaotic train network. However, given that I now live in Tokyo, I get to see these trains for myself.
