*Going Soon* FL ADH45026 on Bus Route 220

In this video, I take a ride on the 220 between Harlesden and the Scrubs Lane/Cumberland Business Park area. Was going to film more, but the driver was going incredibly slowly and I believe I was after the BDEs that were appearing on the 7, which I did catch by the way. Well, while I'm grateful to still have these OG hybrids around me, I'm more glad to see that V have had some of the Gemini 2 B5LHs that had originally arrived there for the 220 back. It's also even cooler to see some of the ADE's transfer from TV as well, as well as ADE40303, which was made redundant at X. So for now, the route uses some good buses, but that won't be for long as First Bus have lost this route to BFL, which if you don't know is TfL's own bus company, essentially where whichever routes they win are TfL's for good, as the routes are removed from the tendering system. Currently, BFL have taken ownership of one site, which is Park Royal (X) in West London, so any routes in that local vicinity that are up for tender soon could be at risk, electric or not. So far, they've won this route, the 6 and the 460, with WJ routes being at risk when their up for retender. I'm hoping Metroline don't lose any of their routes there as they are all very nostalgic for me. Anyhow, enjoy this chill little ride on this route for now while it's with First. It would've probably gotten even more BD11s or something anyway if retained, and BFL are likely to order something else for it, which should be nice. Route 220 runs between Willesden Junction and Wandsworth, Garratt Lane. The route is operated by First Bus out of Stamford Brook (V) Bus Garage.
