Impaired Driver is Taken to the Hospital After DUI Arrest & Tries to Escape from Olympia WA Police

Public records show that she has been arrested at least 3 times in 2023 alone. One of the officers even alludes to the fact that she has personally arrested Amanda in the past. On June 21, 2023, police are called to an apartment complex because Amanda is allegedly suffering a mental episode. Police quickly determine that she is under the influence of some kind of substance. Despite this, they are in no hurry to catch up to Amanda when she walks away from them. She gets in a car and speeds off, even though she is in no condition to drive. 6 minutes later, she crashes head-on into a parked car. She becomes so belligerent that she had to be restrained in The Wrap. She is taken to the local emergency room to be treated for her injuries and to treat her overdose. A blood draw is also performed. Officer Perez leaves her alone for a minute while she uses the restroom and she tries to escape! Despite this, a few minutes later, Officer Perez leaves Amanda in the custody of a hospital security guard while he retrieves his laptop computer from inside of the hospital. At the end of the video, when Amanda is conscious and coherent, Officer Perez interviews her about the events of the evening. Amanda is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and obstruction. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
