Maple Leaf Rag

This is Maple Leaf Rag from the album "A Joplin Bouquet". The recording was made by Ann Charters in 1958 and later published by Crescendo Records. The recording took place (according to the information of the album cover) in Brooklyn, NY and was performed on a Steinway concert grand piano. The piano's twangy timbre and ringy overtones make the music sound as if it were recorded in Joplin's days.
