Former minister Harish Rao inspects the Mallanna Sagar reservoir bund in Siddipet district and raises concern over blasting work close to the bund. At the bund, BRS leader Harish Rao alleges that rocks are being blasted with gelatin sticks within about 150 metres of the Mallanna Sagar bund, at night, without permission from the irrigation department, police or the gram panchayat. He says the sarpanch of Tipparam village told him houses in the village, nearly a kilometre away, are developing cracks, and that he was pressured to give permission for the blasting but refused.
