Ears to Hear 🌱 What Kind of Soil Is Your Heart? | Matthew 13:1–23 Gospel Rap

The same seed falls on four kinds of ground. What happens when God's Word reaches your heart? Ears to Hear by ChaptersNBars brings the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:1–23 into an original gospel rap song. Jesus teaches from a boat as a crowd gathers on the shore, telling a story of seed scattered on the path, rocky places, thorny ground, and good soil. The song follows the parable, the disciples' question about why Jesus teaches in stories, and His explanation of the soils. Shallow roots, trouble, worry, and the pull of wealth can keep the Word from bearing fruit. Good ground hears and understands, producing a harvest of thirty, sixty, or a hundred times what was sown. With a choir hook and a prayer to break up hard ground, Ears to Hear invites us to ask God for receptive hearts and deeper roots. 🎵 Song: Ears to Hear 📖 Scripture inspiration: Matthew 13:1–23 🎤 Artist/channel: ChaptersNBars Original music with lyrics creatively retelling and reflecting on Scripture.
