Mason Oelkers | Highlight Video | Center Back & Right Back | Class of 2027

Mason Oelkers is a composed, disciplined defender for Future Soccer Academy, wearing number 8 for both his club and high school teams. Playing center back and right back, Mason combines physical defending with genuine comfort on the ball — a rare combination that makes him a real asset on the backline. This video focuses heavily on his defending ability, showcasing his positioning, timing, and physicality in 1v1 and team defending situations. Just as important is his composure on the ball under pressure — Mason consistently makes the right decision rather than panicking or booting the ball away, allowing his team to build out of the back with confidence. The video also highlights his ability to break lines at a high level, whether that's stepping into midfield to progress play or delivering forward-thinking passes that shift the game from defense into attack.
