Mystery solved! We found this beautiful frosted glass object on the beach today, and I was convinced it must have come from an unusual bottle. After comparing its shape, hollow interior, thick glass flange and molded threads, we discovered that it’s actually a heat-resistant glass cover that screwed over the light bulb inside an oven! The closest documented match is an Electrolux/AEG-style oven-lamp cover, likely from the late 20th or early 21st century. Years of rolling through sand and surf transformed the originally clear glass into this soft, pale lavender treasure.
