Karnal Ring Road: Faster Travel, Better Connectivity, Greener Infrastructure

The Karnal Ring Road, a 34.5 km long 6-lane Greenfield corridor being developed in Haryana, is set to transform regional connectivity by providing a seamless bypass around Karnal city. Built at a cost of approximately ₹1000 crore, the project features major bridges, flyovers, underpasses, service roads and advanced traffic management systems, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for commuters and freight traffic. Designed with sustainability at its core, the project incorporates fly ash embankments, drip irrigation for plantation, rainwater harvesting systems and solar-powered highway lighting.
