They Could’ve Played It Safe… But Didn’t | Worth the Risk? |Toxic Review

Toxic is not a perfect cinema… but a different cinema. A film that could’ve easily played safe, but instead chooses to build its own strange, dark and unpredictable world. Yash steps into a story that keeps moving in directions you don’t really expect. There’s crime, family, power, violence, relationships and a whole lot happening underneath what you see on the surface. Does it all work? Not really. There are moments where the film loses its grip, some choices feel unnecessary, and a few things could’ve been handled much better. But then there are moments where you just sit back and think, “Okay… they actually tried something different.” So, is Toxic worth watching? And more importantly… Is this the kind of film you should experience in a theatre? That’s what we’re getting into.
