Black Adam was dormant for 5,000 years. The lightning brought him back. What it could not bring back was everything five millennia of cellular deterioration, immune obsolescence, Bronze Age psychology, and biological dormancy had already taken.
In this video, we examine six biological and psychological problems with Black Adam's resurrection — from cellular deterioration and an immune system calibrated for Bronze Age pathogens to chronic rage, lightning-induced neural damage, skeletal remodeling, and the psychological consequences of awakening in a completely different world.
This video uses original scientific analysis, narration, and visual storytelling to examine a fictional character through real concepts from biology, neuroscience, physiology, and physics.
The lightning brought him back. It just did not bring back everything that five thousand years had taken.
