Fay (Valerie Wildman) gives Brandon (Matt Cedeño) a housewarming gift before heading out, but not before telling her son in private that he and Sami (Alison Sweeney) would make a great couple. Later, Brandon and Sami get dressed for their night at the strip club. Meanwhile, Fay drops by the police station hoping to find Abe (James Reynolds), with so much she wants to tell him. What could Fay be holding onto? Bo (Peter Reckell) and Alice (Frances Reid) overhear the nurses talking about the baby, and Bo wants to know what’s wrong with the little guy. The nurses admit the situation is a little unusual, but he isn’t in danger and just needs smaller, more frequent feedings. Later, the nurse brings Hope (Kristian Alfonso) her baby, but he won’t stop crying. Once Hope starts to relax, he quiets down and begins to nurse. Everyone is relieved except Alice, who privately fears something is still wrong. Leave it to Alice. As Abe and Celeste (Tanya Boyd) wait for Lexie (Renée Jones) to come home, Abe admits he was suspicious of Marlo from the start, since she seemed drunk the first time he met her, even though Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) denied it. He just hopes she never comes back wanting her baby. As time passes, Abe grows worried and calls the DiMera mansion. There, Lexie is shocked to find Marlo’s body at the bottom of the stairs. Stefano spins a story that the poor woman, in her weakened condition, simply fell. He sends Lexie home to be with her new baby, promising to take care of everything, but when she reaches the foyer, the body is gone. Could it all have been a bad dream?
