Life doesn’t always go the way we planned. At 57, I can look back at my life and see plenty of things that turned out differently than I expected. Some things worked out better. Some didn’t. And some things I spent years worrying about ended up not mattering nearly as much as I thought they would. After 32 years of working, raising a family, retiring, getting older, and simply living life, I’ve learned that sometimes you have to stop fighting the life you thought you were supposed to have and learn how to appreciate the life that’s actually in front of you. In this video, I share some of the biggest lessons life has taught me when things didn’t go according to plan.
