Millionaire Visited His Ex Wife's Humble Home — Then Heard His Mother's Voice Inside Her House!

Wade Callahan rehearsed cold business sentences the whole two hour drive from Dallas to Hico, Texas. He was getting married in three weeks, his fiancee's family wanted the lake property at Possum Kingdom rolled into a development, and it was still in his name and his ex wife's. All he needed was one signature from Della Ruiz. Seven years without a phone call. She was hanging sheets on a clothesline behind a peeling white house, and instead of shouting at him she told him to sit down and brought him coffee in a chipped mug he thought she had broken the day she left. She told him quietly that she had not left. She had been thrown out. And inside that little house, three secrets were waiting for him, one of them a six year old boy, and every one of them was going to break his heart in a different way. This is a story about the family a man was told he never had. #stories #storytime #inspiringstory #emotionalstory
