About This Walk This walk begins on the Stadtplatz in the old town, then heads down Kirchgasse and Seegasse, the pedestrian street that runs straight toward the water. From there we follow the Esplanade along the shore of the Zeller See, with the Schmittenhöhe rising behind the town and Alpine peaks on every side, before winding back through the old town lanes and out along Saalfeldner Straße and Dreifaltigkeitsstraße.
