For years, I had only seen the Burj Khalifa through photographs, videos and movies. But this time, I was standing right in front of it, dressed up and getting ready to experience something I had only imagined before. I was honestly a little nervous, but more than anything, I was excited. The luxury started from the moment I stepped inside. Even the elevator had a beautiful golden button, and the entire experience immediately felt incredibly premium and exclusive. I got into the incredibly fast elevator and reached the 123rd floor within minutes. But the journey didn’t end there. As I made my way towards Atmosphere, even the staircase felt like part of the experience. The elegant lighting, sophisticated interiors and quiet sense of luxury made every step feel special. There was something about walking through that beautifully designed space knowing that I was heading towards dinner at one of the world’s most iconic locations. The anticipation kept building with every step. And then I finally reached Atmosphere. I was given an incredible table overlooking the Dubai skyline and Dubai Fountain. The view was absolutely breathtaking. But sitting there wasn’t just about the view or the luxury. At that moment, I became emotional thinking about the journey that brought me there. From starting out at a small kebab shop in Royapuram to sitting here, on the 123rd floor of Burj Khalifa, getting ready to have dinner — it felt almost unreal. I was given the menu and chose the 3-course dinner experience. The starter arrived first, and it was genuinely delicious. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. From the moment I entered, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Despite being in such an exclusive and luxurious restaurant, I never felt out of place. For a moment, I genuinely felt like I belonged there. I also got the chance to take in the full restaurant and its beautiful interiors. Everything felt elegant, sophisticated and incredibly luxurious, while the Dubai skyline outside made the entire experience even more magical. For the main course, I was served Tandoori Chicken, followed by Crème Brûlée and a complimentary dessert. The food was absolutely delicious, but honestly, the entire experience was much bigger than just the food. It was the feeling of being there. The view. The atmosphere. The hospitality. The journey that brought me there. After the meal, I took a few quiet minutes just to be thankful. Thankful for the opportunities, thankful for everyone who has supported me, and thankful that I got to experience a moment that I once thought was only something I would see in photographs and movies.
