I have long dreamed of flying to Murmansk. This is one of the northernmost airports in Russia. It is located above the Arctic Circle and I knew that mesmerizing views from the plane window awaited me. The flights were full of pleasant moments: takeoff from Pulkovo with a right turn over the Gulf of Finland (a rarity for me), turning the plane around its axis at Murmansk airport, takeoff with an immediate left turn from Murmansk and a noticeable weightlessness in the climb!
