Vancouver Island Food Tour | Why the Drive to Cowichan is Worth It

I moved to Vancouver Island this summer, and there’s one place I keep driving back to, even though it takes an hour each way. This quiet day in Cowichan Valley begins with my favourite cinnamon bun, followed by a BBQ Smoked beef brisket panini, ice cream and shopping for local candied salmon and wild salmon. Then I head home to cook dinner on the deck, surrounded by the ocean view, deers and the last light of the day.
