For thousands of years, humanity has asked the same question: What happens when we die? Religion has offered faith. Science has asked for evidence. But what if the distance between those two worlds is smaller than we think? In this episode of The Divine Within, Santiago Kneeland sits down with Geoff Taylor, a retired aerospace engineer whose work explores the intersection of physics, consciousness and the soul. Geoff calls this exploration Theophysics. His goal is not to prove the afterlife. It is to ask whether there could be a plausible mechanism behind it. Could consciousness be more than brain activity? Could identity exist as an enduring pattern? Could the soul actually grow? Could our relationships be part of what survives? Geoff begins with one central idea: Everything exists through patterns and relationships. Particles interact. Fields influence one another. Energy organizes. Systems become stable. And human beings do the same. We think. We choose. We love. We serve. We build relationships. From there, the conversation moves into one of Geoff’s biggest questions: If the soul is more than a metaphor, what are we actually building during this life? For Geoff, spiritual growth is not instant perfection. It is a process. He uses the idea of morontia to describe a transitional stage between the material and the spiritual—a continuation of learning, growth and becoming. That leads to another question: What is truly enduring? Love or hate? Connection or division? Service or selfishness? Geoff’s answer points toward relationship. Because relationships require energy. Friendship requires investment. Love requires choice. Trust takes time. And the most meaningful things often do not reward us immediately. They become valuable because they endure. The conversation also explores entanglement as a metaphor and possible bridge between physics and human connection. Nothing exists completely alone. And perhaps we don’t either. Geoff asks whether family, friendship, service and love could actually participate in the architecture of the soul itself. Santiago and Geoff also explore the Urantia Book’s concept of resurrection and the morontia body—not as established science or historical proof, but as part of the spiritual framework they are examining together. The question underneath all of this is simple: What if who you are is more enduring than your physical body? Not because we already have all the answers. But because perhaps science, consciousness and spirituality are asking different versions of the same question. And maybe the real work begins now. In the way we think. In the way we choose. In the relationships we build. In the love we give. In the patterns we strengthen every day. Because if something in us continues… perhaps we are already shaping it. 🎙️ Host Santiago Kneeland 🎙️ Guest Geoff Taylor 👍 Like, subscribe, share this episode and tell us: Do you think there could be a mechanism behind life after death? 🌐 THE DIVINE WITHIN Website: https://thedivinewithin.org Discover more: https://linktr.ee/thedivinewithin Support the project: https://thedivinewithin.org/support The Invisible Connection with God. 🌐 THE DIVINE WITHIN La Conexión Invisible con Dios.
