#cookedbysabeen #PakistaniMomInCanada #SlowLiving #CozyVlog #positivevibes #summervlog Assalamu Alaikum! ❤️ Come spend a slow, cozy summer day at home with my family in Canada. From baking chocolate chip cookies and making delicious no-churn mango ice cream to preparing a simple moong dal breakfast and an easy summer lunch, this vlog is all about finding joy in everyday moments. Our summer holidays began unexpectedly when my daughter's foot was fractured, but we're choosing gratitude and making beautiful memories at home. Sometimes the simplest days become the ones our children remember forever. As mothers, our children are an amanah from Allah. Homemaking and parenting deserve the same sincerity, dedication, and effort we would give to any profession. The love, time, and values we invest in our homes matter, and every small act done with the right intention has value. If you enjoy cozy homemaking, slow living, simple Pakistani recipes, motherhood, family vlogs, and life in Canada, I hope you'll enjoy today's video. May Allah put barakah in our homes and families. Ameen. ❤️ Love, —Sabeen💕 Mathay Aaloo    • From My Home to Yours🏡|Apple Date Cake| Ma...   🍪 Basic No-Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies *Ingredients* 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup chocolate chips *Method* Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cream the softened butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes). Beat in the egg and vanilla until fully combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between them. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Makes: About 18–24 cookies. For extra-soft cookies: Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes before baking and avoid overbaking—the cookies will continue to set as they cool. 🍨 No Churn Mango Icecream: *Ingredients* 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream 1 can condensed milk ( 330 ml) 1 tsp canill essence 2-3 large mangoes cut in small cubes or make pulp *Method* Beat cold cream in a cold bowl till sift peaks are formed .
