🌋🇳🇿 Exploring Te Puia & Rotorua | Kiwi Bird Encounter | Journey to Auckland | New Zealand Travel Vlog In this episode of my New Zealand travel series, I explore the incredible Te Puia in Rotorua, one of New Zealand's most famous geothermal and cultural attractions. The journey begins at the Sulphur Point Wildlife Sanctuary (Sulphur Bay Wildlife Refuge), a unique 145-hectare geothermal sanctuary located on the shores of Lake Rotorua. Surrounded by steaming vents, boiling mud pools, and stunning geothermal landscapes, this sanctuary is home to several threatened native bird species and unique plant life. Next, I visit the spectacular Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley and witness the world-famous Pohutu Geyser in action. One of the highlights of the day was seeing New Zealand's iconic kiwi bird up close — a truly special experience! I then continue to the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute, where I learn about Māori culture, traditional carving, weaving, and the rich heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand. After an exciting day in Rotorua, I return to the hotel to rest before starting the next leg of the journey. The following day, I travel from Rotorua to Auckland. In Auckland, I meet a fellow Kannadiga, and together we begin exploring the city. What adventures did we have?
