His strong songwriting abilities have gained him recognition having written chart topping singles not only for himself but for some of South Africa’s top artists. Jethro started gaining traction with the release of his collaboration with dance music duo Pascal & Pearce on the summer anthem “Running Wild” which reached multi-platinum certification. Riding on the success of “Running Wild,” Jethro has released a number of well received singles including “SAD” - which gained a SAMA nomination for “Record Of the Year.” On the 18th of September 2020 Jethro released a vulnerable and moving EP titled “I Don’t Sleep.” It recently received a SAMA nomination for “Best Pop Album.” The 6 track EP is a collection of songs that are very personal and honest making it a perfect introduction to who Jethro is as an artist." http://vevo.ly/Iy2Soe
