Funk backing track in E minor at 100 BPM, with no guitar in the mix. A tight funky groove with live drums, slap bass, clavinet, Rhodes and horn stabs, so you can play funk rhythm guitar, chicken scratch chops and funky lead lines over a full band. Key: E minor Tempo: 100 BPM Chords: Em7 vamp (one chord funk groove) Scales to use: E minor pentatonic, E Dorian (add the C# for that funky Dorian sound), E blues scale The video shows the key, tempo, chord and a full fretboard diagram of the E minor pentatonic scale, with the C# Dorian notes marked, plus a 1 2 3 4 count so you always know where the downbeat is. Great for funk guitar practice, improvisation, learning the minor pentatonic and Dorian mode, 16th note strumming and jamming at home.
