To anyone watching who has experienced premature birth, spent days or weeks in a NICU, held their breath through every update, or faced the unimaginable loss of a baby, to every exhausted family and to those who stood beside someone they love through it all: the hospital visits, the uncertainty, the prayers, the tears, and the moments when there simply weren’t appropriate words to speak, you are not alone, and your story deserves to be remembered. Some journeys begin with fear instead of celebration. Some parents leave the hospital with empty arms. Some bring their babies home after a long and difficult fight. And some carry memories, questions, and grief that never completely disappear. Please know that there is no timeline for healing, and there is no “right” way to remember, grieve, hope, or move forward. Also, remember that God was there through it all. He was there in the waiting rooms; in the tears no one saw. He was there when the monitors sounded non-stop, when good news finally came, and when the news was too painful to comprehend.
