SNES Turtles in Time 4-player ROM hack

This is a demo recording of a 4-player ROM hack for the SNES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. AI Disclosure: this hack was performed with the assistance of Claude Opus 5.5. To try it yourself in your web browser, head over to https://tmnt.downtowndougbrown.com. You will need to supply your own ROM, and then the site will patch it for you and let you play. The stock SNES hardware would not have been capable of this. It doesn't support enough simultaneous sprites to keep all the existing things on the screen while also adding two extra turtles. This hack overcomes that limitation by running inside an emulator that has been patched to give the SNES extensions so it can handle more sprites and palettes. The emulator I chose to extend for this project is Mesen. For more information on the hack, see: https://github.com/dougg3/turtles-in-... https://github.com/dougg3/mesen-tmnt4p
