Renault Megane Sepang Lap Record! 16 Jan 2015 | 2:30.100

What a way to kick start 2015! Snatched the standing RenaultSport Megane RS250 lap record from professional racing driver Denis Lian with a new personal best of 2:30.100. I knew there was more time to be shaved when I ran Hankook Z221 semi-slicks at the recent TimeToAttack on 21 Dec 2014, and decided that I had to give it another go. Received word on Thursday afternoon that Sepang Circuit had single slot trackdays available on Friday and decided there was no better chance. Woke up early, took the drive, and did it! A 2:30.100 to reclaim the lap record that I used to hold in early 2013. Although I was extremely frustrated that I didn't break the 2:30 barrier (as you can see by my reaction after I pass the start finish line), but it's only January, and there's still an entire year to continue pushing. Thank you to everyone that has been there over my years as a track junkie. All your overwhelming support keeps me going. Cheers to more in 2015!
