In this video, I show exactly how I repaired and recharged the air conditioning (A/C) system on my 2009 Toyota Camry V6 (3.5L 2GR-FE engine).
If your A/C light blinks (blinking light), compressor won’t turn on or blows warm air in hot weather, this video may be helpful. Other specific Diagnostic symptoms include Camry AC light flashing 3 times, AC blowing warm air at idle, or magnetic clutch relay bypass.
Compatibility across generations (2007–2011 Camry, Avalon, Highlander, RAV4).
This step-by-step guide covers:
• Diagnosing a couple of things that can cause this.
• Diagnosing a failed A/C high pressure switch (pressure sensor)
• Finding and installing the correct OEM replacement sensor
• Vacuuming the system with a proper manifold gauge set and vacuum pump
• Adding the correct type and amount of refrigerant and oil for a safe DIY recharge
• Checking live A/C pressures to ensure a perfect final charge — no guesswork
