In Sri Lanka we have 5 appointments in the professorial unit before we pass out as doctors. We have to complete medical, surgical, gynecological and obstetrics, pediatrics and psychiatric appointments in our last year of medical school. In each appointment we have to work as shadow house officers where we are trained as an intern house officers. Among those, medicine shadow HO period is the toughest. In this video I will bring you my experiences and special moments as a medicine shadow HO student. I think this will help the students who are willing to come to a medical school and to become a doctor one day. And this will motivate the students who already in this pathway.
