Radio Rebel Broke Her

Radio Rebel is a movie about finding your voice, being yourself, and standing up to authority. Unfortunately, nobody told Principal Moreno that.. I finally watched Radio Rebel, and while there is A LOT we need to discuss about this movie, I became increasingly fascinated by one thing: Principal Moreno’s absolutely incredible descent into madness. She starts the movie as a fairly normal high school principal trying to stop an anonymous student from disrupting her school, which is reasonable enough... and then Radio Rebel breaks her psyche into pieces. So today, we’re following Principal Moreno from Day 1 to the completely unhinged woman she becomes by the end of the movie and taking a close look at the overall themes of Radio Rebel.
