'83 Mercedes 300SD W126 Cooling System Overhaul - Bypass Hose Replacement

Welcome back to the channel! In this video, I cover doing a basic overhaul of the cooling system on my '83 300SD. The bypass hose under the thermostat housing was leaking which I've found a great replacement for. The car also tended to run a bit warm which I'm linking to the previous owner's use of green antifreeze and tap water plugging things up a bit. I'll likely be replacing the radiator in the near future but we'll see. Here is the coupler I used. They have a shorter one which would likely work great for ~$8.
