The Complete God of War Timeline Explained (Greek to Norse)

Kratos has spent eleven games and two mythologies fighting the same enemy, and it was never a god. It was the idea that his ending had already been written down by somebody else. This is the complete God of War timeline in chronological order, from the blood oath in Ascension through Chains of Olympus, the original God of War, Ghost of Sparta, God of War Two and Three, the Norse saga, Ragnarok, and the Valhalla epilogue. The handheld entries are included, because one of them contains the prophecy the Greek gods created by trying to prevent it. Two moments bookend the whole saga. In God of War Two, Kratos sails to the Island of Creation and kills the Sisters of Fate, the three beings who physically operate the machine that spins every life.
