‪@DugDugiRajesh‬ लोकगायक मोहम्मद रफी कभी स्कूल नहीं गए, पर वन गुर्जर समुदाय के बच्चों की शिक्षा के लिए हमेशा प्रयासरत रहते हैं। घर पर ही हिन्दी पढ़ना, लिखना सीखा। मां से ऊर्दू, अरबी सीखी। सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता मोहम्मद रफी वन गुर्जर समुदाय की परंपराओं, संस्कृति, वेशभूषा और खानपान, भाषा बोली के लिए जागरूकता की मुहिम चला रहे हैं। समुदाय के सम्मेलनों और विभिन्न समारोहों में वो इस मुहिम को आगे बढ़ाते हैं। उनको लोकगीत गाने के लिए सादर आमंत्रित किया जाता है। नरेंद्रनगर रोड पर कुशरैला गुर्जर बस्ती में रहने वाले मोहम्मद रफी कहते हैं, सभी बच्चों को शिक्षा हासिल करनी चाहिए, शिक्षा में बड़ी ताकत होती है। बताते हैं, उनकी बस्ती से स्कूल दूर है, रास्ते में जोखिम भी रहता है...पर हमारे यहां बच्चे पढ़ रहे हैं। Meet Folk Singer Mohammad Rafi: A Torchbearer of Education & Culture in the Van Gujjar Community.
