Returning To Bromo

I’ve been to Bromo almost a hundred times. But I had never really been to Bromo. For years, I came here as a tour guide — bringing travelers to see the sunrise, making sure everything went smoothly, and then leaving. This time, I came for myself. Three days trekking across the Bromo caldera with Fjällräven Bromo Discovery. Sleeping in a tent. Walking through the dust. Feeling the cold. Listening to the wind.
