Muslim Claimed “I Only Follow the Quran” — Then The Quran Turned On Him! ‪@bigjonsteel‬

A Muslim joins Big Jon’s livestream claiming he follows only the Quran—no Hadith, no Tafsir, no Islamic tradition whatsoever. Just the text. That position sounds simple… until it’s tested. In this clip, Big Jon presents what’s often called the Islamic Dilemma—and the conversation quickly unravels. The caller appeals to Quranic verses about Allah giving the Torah to the Jews, the Injil to the Christians, and the Quran to the Muslims, insisting that the Quran “confirms what came before it.” But when pressed on what “confirming what was before it” actually means, things fall apart. The Muslim argues that the Arabic phrase often translated as “what is between their hands” is merely an idiom—claiming it only validates what aligns with the Quran and dismisses everything else. Big Jon responds with a simple but devastating question: How can the Quran be called a book confirming previous Scriptures when, at that point, it hadn’t even been written yet? The Quran was still oral revelation. Instead of answering the dilemma, the caller refuses to engage—admitting he doesn’t care about the implications of his claim. With no justification, no consistency, and no willingness to address the contradiction, the debate reaches its breaking point. 📌 This clip exposes a core issue with “Quran-only” Islam and why rejecting Hadith and Tafsir creates more problems than it solves. 📌 Watch closely—this is a masterclass in how theological claims collapse under basic scrutiny.
