Welcome back to FixIt All Workshop! In this video, I’m taking on the challenge of repairing an Xbox One controller I picked up from Facebook Marketplace. I bought it just to test my Xbox One (after fixing its power supply) but the controller had more issues than expected! From a dead Y-axis on the left stick to drift on the right stick, and a stuck-up button, it’s a real fixer-upper. Watch as I troubleshoot, match sticks to minimize drift, and even restore a damaged track using a microscope. After 3 hours of work, compressed into a 50-minute video, the Xbox One controller is fully functional again! What You'll Learn: How to diagnose and repair dead sticks and drift on an Xbox One controller Fixing a stuck button that’s stuck in the pressed position Matching replacement sticks to minimize drift, including testing multiple sticks for the best fit Microscope work to restore a damaged track on the controller board Reassembly and final testing of a fully functional Xbox One controller Why This is Important: This repair took a lot of time and effort, but it’s a good example of how to tackle multiple issues in a single controller. From drift to stuck buttons, this video shows that even a controller with several faults can be restored, saving you money and giving new life to your hardware. Tools & Materials Used: Replacement analog sticks Screwdriver set Soldering iron and desoldering tools Microscope (for track repair) Multimeter (optional for testing) Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more repair videos and tutorials! #XboxControllerRepair #StickDriftFix #ButtonRepair #DIYGaming #FixItAllWorkshop
