West Ham 2–3 Southampton! Saints Make a Statement in London | TSP 399

Southampton have pulled off one of their biggest wins of the season! A stunning start, a spectacular James Bree goal and a heroic performance from Daniel Peretz helped Saints beat West Ham 3-2 at the London Stadium. Was this the statement victory that proves Southampton are genuine promotion contenders? Martin Starke is joined by Steve Grant, Glen de la Cour and Alfie House to break down an extraordinary afternoon in London. We discuss Saints' fast start, Lewis Dobbin stepping up in Cyle Larin's absence, James Ward-Prowse's return to West Ham and the defensive resilience that secured three huge points. With Saints now just three points off the top two, could this be a turning point in the season? We also look ahead to Saturday's home game against QPR, with Rangers supporter Jawad joining us to discuss their impressive form, injury problems and what Southampton can expect at St Mary's. Plus, Alfie shares the latest from his interview with sporting director Johannes Spors, including discussions over Tonda Eckert's contract and the possibility of January transfer business. *EPISODE 400 NEXT WEEK!* We're celebrating 400 episodes of Total Saints Podcast by getting the whole team together in person in Southampton.
