What's In a Name?

John Griffiths preached this sermon, based on 1 Peter 4:12-19, at Wembley Church of Christ on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Julius Nuga read the Bible passage. Synopsis: The name Christian appears only three times in the New Testament, and 1 Peter 4:16 is one of them. Names matter because they give us identity. The name Christian is significant, distinct, and saved. Peter tells us not to be ashamed of the name Christian, but to glorify God under that name.
