Today, we're setting off from the harbor and following the waterfront toward the lighthouse before continuing to the Damlataş area. The weather is warm, the sky is bright, and Alanya is out enjoying the day. ☀️ The harbor is a wonderful place to begin. Boats fill the water, people wander along the waterfront, and visitors take their time enjoying the sunshine. There is always something to notice here, whether it's the movement of the boats, the people strolling past, or the little details that make this part of the city feel so unmistakably Alanya. From there, we continue toward the lighthouse, taking in the coastal surroundings as we walk. The Mediterranean is never far away, and the sunny weather makes the whole waterfront inviting. People are out walking, spending time together, and simply enjoying being outside instead of staying indoors. What I particularly enjoy about walks like this is that you don't need a packed itinerary. You can just follow the streets, see where the day takes you, and enjoy the city at your own pace. Sometimes the pleasure is in the destination, but just as often it's in everything you notice along the way. Our walk continues toward Damlataş, another familiar part of Alanya where the city and the seaside come together. With the warm air, the bright daylight, and so many people making the most of the weather, it feels like the perfect day to explore on foot. This route gives you a lovely look at several different sides of downtown Alanya in one continuous stroll — from the boats and waterfront atmosphere of the harbor, past the lighthouse, and onward toward Damlataş.
