Kwara Customs Intercepts ₦50.9m Tramadol, 6,875 Litres PMS, Exotic Vehicles in ₦604m Seizure Haul

The Nigeria Customs Service, (NCS), Kwara Area Command has intercepted 3,396 packets of Tramadol 100mg valued at over ₦50.9 million, alongside 6,875 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), being diverted outside the country, two exotic vehicles and other contraband items with a combined duty-paid value of over ₦604 million. The Acting Area Controller of Customs, Najeem Ogundeyi, disclosed this during a briefing at the Customs House in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital where he noted that the seizures were recorded across different operational corridors in the state, expressing concern over the growing threat posed by the trafficking of dangerous pharmaceutical products to society.
