And what a ride this was. Despite oversleeping from my Vermont trip earlier in the week, this was a fantastic treat, and the best part is we still have snow left back has the ski season officially started once the F/M swap began. And as we speak, not only are we closing in on the end of the year, but we are also closing in on the end of the MetroCard Era. At the end of the year, MetroCard is officially retiring. I remember having those Metro cards in the 2010s to get me literally any place and while they have served it time well since it’s inception in 1994 and replacing the token in 2003 it was time for an upgrade. With the evolution of technology over the past decade, it seemed imminent. And I will say it is so much easier to just tap and ride then having to have to swipe your MetroCard multiple times if let’s say your card was not read. And I’m glad that we are entering a new era in MTA. So as we wind down 2025, I hope you guys enjoy this midday journey through Brooklyn, Manhattan and The Bronx.
